# GitLab CI/CD: Basic Deployment

The simplest pipeline deploys your API to Zuplo on every push to main.

```yaml title=".gitlab-ci.yml"
image: node:20

stages:
  - deploy

deploy:
  stage: deploy
  script:
    - npm install
    - npx zuplo deploy --api-key "$ZUPLO_API_KEY"
  only:
    - main
```

Store `ZUPLO_API_KEY` in **Settings** > **CI/CD** > **Variables**.
